First things first...Here is another LO I finished today. (Nope, never got the second half of circle one completed. Couldn't tackle it today) This one I did for Table Scrapz with their new camping/RV paper:
This picture didn't turn out very well...there are brads acting as lil bullets. The journaling reads:
*four hour drive
*caravan of motor homes
*lots of dirt
*Incredible sunsets
*dirty, happy kids
*great friends
*crackling hot fire
*men sharing stories
*women sharing scrapbook tips
*wonderful memories
I printed up the journaling on the RV patterned paper...I didn't want to cover it up! Also the green is more khaki...and I painted the arrow to match the colors.
Moving onward...
"It takes a long time to grow an old friend" - John Leonard
SO true...and unfortunately I let three years go by before fixing a mistake that was made. However, while I don't want to go into it on here...as I am going to protect this relationship harder than I did the first time, I will say, that I believe it has been healed. :) That "old" friend is in the photo with me in the above LO, as well as this pic...where we actually are wearing make up. Tee hee!
It feels like I found my favorite pair of warm, fuzzy worn in slippers that I have been missing a long time. Life is good... Have a blessed evening!

Now I'm crying at work... not a good mix with sick patients!

By the way, I love the LO. I'm gonna have to copy it....

The color combination is very earthy, which kinda translates to a laid-back and comfortable drive. More pics for "incredible sunsets" would have made a great contrast.
