Well, Hello there. How are you folks doing? Do I still have any readers? Wouldn't be shocked if I lost everyone...it HAS been since November since I posted.
I could bore you with the main reasons why, but I won't. At least not today. And, to be honest, I thought I was completely DONE with blogging. (even though I was very flattered so many of you emailed me, or facebooked me telling me you missed reading it)
Then, something happened to make me change my mind. Dale came home one morning from work, and said that for whatever reason he was REALLY missing us during his shift. So, he decided to go onto my blog, and re-read some of the posts. He said he got the biggest kick out of seeing how much our children had changed, and he had forgotten MOST of the stories that I had written about.
SOOOO, here I am. Blogging after almost four months. I know I won't post every day, but I am going to try and get back into the swing of things.
First things first. I have lost two dear animals recently. I had to put Molly, my dog of 14 years, down in December. Then, in January I had to put down Maggie my cat. (If you were counting we originally had four cats, and two dogs) Somehow I was thrown into a lil depression over it all. I still had a dog and two cats, so I really couldn't figure out why I was so bummed.
Then, when I went to pick up Molly's ashes I was shown a puppy that my vet was nursing back to health. I would LOVE to post the story of that one, but as I found out here recently, YL is ONE SMALL TOWN. I certainly don't need/want/desire to be sued. Let's just say my vet is an angel. Anyway, after a couple months the puppy was well enough to go home with us for a weekend. That was three weeks ago. :) Puppy has been here since.
World, let me introduce you to Judah.
He is an adorable boxer, who has stolen my heart. This is not a great photo of him, but I still had to show him off. I really wanted to name him Duke, but he came to us named...and the kids just got used to Judah. Judah is now seven months old. House training is going well. He does have some accidents, which I generally try and hide from Dale. (Hi Dale!!!!)
In addition to my new puppy, sports has taken over my life. Up until mid Feb. we had sports SEVEN DAYS A WEEK. Now we have Sunday's free. (YAY! And, we found a home church!)
I am going to leave you now with some pics of my boy... Thanks for sticking with me!
Glad you are back. No pressure, but you are one of my favorites to read! I am a busy mom, too, and so enjoy following your life. Thanks so much.
