In September of 2008 we started our remodel. We still aren't done. *sigh*
A lot of things got in the way of completing the job within our nine month time frame. Number one on the list, MONEY. I think because we have had to wait it out it has made us appreciate it a bit more, and realize the process of remodeling is NOT for our marriage. It is something that I really never want to do again, unless Dale is retired and home to help make decisions, lift furniture, deal with the "men", and haggle with them.
However, on the plus side, just this week my bathroom was completed, and my bedroom ALMOST done. I am going to post some photos, but the lighting on the "after" doesn't do the colors justice.
Bathroom After: (should have taken same angle....will do that for next time)
The color on the wall isn't coming through on here correctly. It is from Restoration Hardware, and is called Blue Sage. (However, does NOT look blue, but green.) Click HERE FOR THE CORRECT COLOR and click on the darkest green. Can you say LOVE??? We made my side of the bathroom vanity longer, and moved the tub around. We also took out the step because we were told a lot of kids were getting injured climbing IN. However, I am getting INJURED climbing out now without it. Darn it!
That coverlet on the bed is from RH and also the same color as the walls. Dale and I picked up those big pillows from Z Gallerie, which match PER-FECT-LY. I still need new lamps, and other stuff to complete this, but I am liking how it is turning out. If I had more patience I would have just waited until the bedroom was REALLY done to show you.
I also cleaned out my scrap area. I wish I had taken a before shot, because you all would be horrified by my clutter. I got rid of SO MANY craft supplies, and bins. Now it looks so nice that I want to scrap and mess it all up again!
And, now on to my love...
Have a wonderful day!
